The Scientific Knowledge and Its Public Understanding: Interdisciplinary Perspectives conference provides an inclusive forum for the exchange of experimental and theoretical approaches to problems in science communication, the public understanding of science and socioscientific controversies. Confirmed keynote speakers include Linda Skitka (University of Illinois, Chicago), Stephan Lewandowsky (University of Bristol), and Mikkel Gerken (University of Southern Denmark).

This two-day international meeting will be held at the joint Faculty of Philosophy/Faculty of Psychology campus in Seville, Spain.  Presentation of work related to science communication, socioscientific controversies, epistemology of science communication, experimental philosophy of science and pseudoscience is welcome.
