The University of Pennsylvania chapter of MAP (Minorities and Philosophy) is excited to announce our 7th conference: MAP-Penn Conference on Climate Justice.

In keeping with the aims of both MAP International and MAP-Penn, previous iterations of this conference have focused on Non-Western Philosophies, Global Feminisms, Inclusive Pedagogies and Methodologies, Philosophy of Race, and Philosophy of Disability and Illness.

Our 2023 conference is focused on aspects of climate justice or climate ethics. This includes, but is not limited to, issues relating to the differing social, economic, public health, and other adverse impacts on underprivileged populations across the world.

Conference dates: March 31- April 2, 2023.

The conference will take place online.
