The University of Pennsylvania chapter of MAP (Minorities and Philosophy) is excited to announce our 7th conference: MAP-Penn Conference on Climate Justice.

For this conference, we are soliciting anonymized abstracts of 500-750 words on any aspect of climate justice or climate ethics. This includes, but is not limited to, issues relating to the differing social, economic, public health, and other adverse impacts on underprivileged populations across the world and questions relating to mitigation, adaptation, global and local forms of climate policy, climate activism, loss and damage, climate-related migration, and indigenous perspectives on climate change.

Please send abstracts to [email protected] with subject line 'MAP Conference' by January 8, 2023. The abstracts should be prepared for anonymous review and submitted in .pdf, .docx, or .doc format. Please specify your name, institutional role, and institution (if any) in the body of the email.

Presenters will be notified about the status of their submission via email by the end of January.

Conference dates: March 31- April 2, 2023.

The conference will take place online.
