Ann Whittle is Lecturer in Philosophy at the University of Manchester. Her research has focused on various problems in metaphysics and the philosophy of agency. Apart from her book, Freedom and Responsibility in Context (Oxford University Press, 2021), her work has appeared in Australasian Journal of Philosophy, inquiry, Philosopher's Imprint, Philosophy and Phenomenological Research, Philosophical Studies, and elsewhere.

Richard Feldman is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Rochester. Best known for his numerous contributions to epistemology, he has also published articles on the free will problem, as well as other topics. He is the co-author (with Earl Conee) of Evidentialism (Oxford University Press, 2004).

Barbara Vetter is Professor of Theoretical Philosophy at Freie Universität Berlin. Apart from her book, Potentiality: From Dispositions to Modality (Oxford University Press, 2015), she has published widely on a range of topics related to the metaphysics of powers, including the metaphysics of abilities.
