TThe Emmanuel College Philosophy Club is pleased to announce our 5th Annual Boston Undergraduate Philosophy Conference featuring keynote speaker, Dr. Dana Francisco Miranda, assistant professor of philosophy at the University of Massachusetts, Boston ( (https://www.danafmiranda.com/)
We welcome papers in any area of philosophy suitable for a 20-minute talk (4000 word maximum). However, papers which address issues related to identity are encouraged. Each paper will receive comments from a member of the Emmanuel College Philosophy Club (limited to 10 minutes) and will be followed by a question and answer session for 15 minutes. All undergraduate students are eligible to submit papers although we strongly recommend that students from Greater Boston as well as from underrepresented groups participate in the conference.
Papers must be submitted as a Word (.docx) document or a PDF (.pdf) file and be prepared for blind review.
Please include a separate cover sheet with your full name, paper title, university or college, e-mail address, and phone number.
Send papers to [email protected] by the end of Wednesday, April 5th, 2023. Notification of acceptance will be by Friday, April 7th, 2023.
The Annual Boston Undergraduate Philosophy Conference is a completely student-run conference with undergraduate students handling all facets of operation.
