CFP: International Neuroethics Society (INS) Neuroethics Essay Contest
Submission deadline: July 3, 2023
Details
This year's International Neuroethics Society (INS) Neuroethics Essay Contest is now open. The contest is now in its 10th year, and we are seeking your help to spread the word to your students and colleagues.
The contest aims to spark curiosity and interest in neuroethics and this year we are accepting submissions in four essay categories:
-
Academic Essay
-
General Audience Essay
-
High School Essay
-
Video Essay (new)
We welcome submissions from students and trainees at many levels, including high school, undergraduate, graduate, and postdoc. And it’s important to note that students can submit an original essay that they’ve previously written for a class.
To encourage participation in our essay contest, we kindly request that you share the call for essays with your colleagues and students. We encourage you to challenge your students to explore neuroethics topics and develop essay assignments that meet the contest requirements.
The deadline for essay submission is early July. Incomplete or late submissions will not be accepted. We strongly encourage submissions from students and trainees from underrepresented groups.
To get all the information, visit our contest website and refer to the call for essays. The call includes all contest details and a description of the types of neuroethics topics that may inspire prospective authors. We also have shareable resources available on the website to help you spread the word.
If you have any questions or need any additional resources to promote the contest, please don't hesitate to reach out to our colleague at the INS supporting the contest, Claudia González-Márquez [email protected]>.
Join us in this exciting opportunity to showcase students’ skills and creativity in neuroethics!
