To celebrate the tercentenary birthdays of Adam Smith and Immanuel Kant, this workshop will bring together scholars exploring the philosophical works of Kant, Smith, and the Scottish Enlightenment more broadly.
We especially encourage the submission of papers that discuss the connections between Kant and Smith, highlight the under-appreciated writings of Scottish women thinkers, or investigate our theme's relation to the topics of race and slavery.
