The Seminar – as organized by Mind, Signs and Models Research Group(MiSiMo) – reflects the interests of involved researchers: sign systems (in particular language) as key elements explaining human cognition. The aim of the Seminar in Cognitive Science is to meet around people who have something to say in cognitive science (or – what is more interesting – at the borders of Cognitive Science) and around ideas, that cognitive scientists discuss – often from different perspectives. The meetings are intended to support the development of the lecturers, to strengthen the interdisciplinarity and to give an idea of the current research in the field of (broad) cognitive science. We invite all the researchers working in the field or interested in the field, as well as students – to participate in the open meetings.
