Details

The inaugural workshop of the AHRC grant Rethinking the Senses introduces the first part of the project: looking for a useful taxonomy of multisensory interactions. What kinds of interactions are there and should they all be explained in the same way? The question will be approached here from two perspectives. Casey O’Callaghan will focus on varieties of multisensory awareness, from a philosophical perspective; Bea De Gelder will focus on the specific case of multisensory perception of emotion, from an experimental one.
