We are incredibly excited to announce the inaugural Melbourne Critical Theory Winter School, to be held from 8-12 July 2024 at the University of Melbourne’s Parkville campus.
We will be joined in Melbourne by Professor Oliver Feltham (American University of Paris) and Associate Professor Jessica Whyte (UNSW).
The Melbourne Critical Theory School will be held annually, taking up a pressing topic to confront contemporary critical theory and philosophy. Our theme for 2024 is ‘Times of Catastrophe’.
Applications are open now, closing 1 May. We welcome participants at all career stages, and especially encourage graduate students and early-career academics to apply. Bursaries are available for participants travelling interstate/overseas.
