Workshop Dates: 26-27 September 2024
Location: Institut Jean-Nicod, Paris (and online)

There is more to perception than mere sensory contents: we typically have the feeling that what we perceive is real and not, for example, merely imagined. We have a sense of reality. This sense is often taken for granted, but what makes an experience feel real? How do we distinguish between reality, imagination, and hallucination?

This workshop aims to bring together early-career and senior researchers from across disciplines whose work contributes in any way to the understanding of the sense of reality in perception, memory, imagination, and cognition more broadly.

If you would like to present your work at the workshop (30 minutes, including Q&A), please submit your abstract of 300 words (excluding references) by August 1st through the link provided in the CFP.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Paris!
