Studien zur Anthropologie und Kulturphilosophie
Sebastian Hüsch, Tim-Florian Steinbach, Oliver Victor (eds.)
The series Studien zur Anthropologie und Kulturphilosophie (Studies in Anthropology and the Philosophy of Culture) combines two putatively independent fields of research that are in productive exchange with each other: Anthropology, which raises the question of what makes human beings human; and the Philosophy of Culture, which asks how human creativity is realized in the form of culture. This series offers an open forum for discussing Philosophical Anthropology, the Philosophy of Culture, and the interactions between the two as well as for exploring the richness, the diverse interpretations, and the meaning of these fields from historical and systematic perspectives.
Both monographs and edited volumes can be submitted for inclusion in this series. These can be written in German, English, or French and edited volumes can also be bilingual or trilingual (i.e. G/E, G/F, G/E/F). Theses submissions (PhD dissertations or Habilitations) are particularly welcome. The series editors and an international scientific advisory board will make the publication decisions. The series editors will support the financing of printing costs with a one-off contribution of € 1,000.
The call is open for projects scheduled for publication at the end of 2025 or beginning of 2026.
If interested, please send a short summary (approx. 3 pages) application and, if possible, the manuscript by the 31st of December 2024 to:
