OFA10 - Call for Abstracts

The OFA (Oficina de Filosofia Analítica) is a graduate conference in analytic philosophy (broadly construed) that has been co-organized by the Portuguese Philosophy Society (SPF) and the Portuguese Society for Analytic Philosophy (SPFA) since 2006 and by the LanCogresearch group and the Centre of Philosophyof the University of Lisbon since 2012.

OFA’s main goal is to provide a stimulating environment for graduate students and recent post-docs to present and discuss their research. OFA accepts submissions from Portuguese researchers, researchers based in Portugal, and from international researchers. OFA aims to reinforce the academic links between the Portuguese and the international community of researchers in philosophy, contributing to their training and raising their standing in the overall international scene.

Participants are also invited to attend the Petrus Hispanus Lectures 2014, which will be delivered by Prof. Susan Carey (Harvard University) on 27 and 29 May 2014.

This call for abstracts is directed at all graduate students and researchers who have obtained their PhDs in philosophy within the last 2 years. All submitted abstracts must be in English or Portuguese, in the analytic tradition (broadly construed), with no further restrictions as regards topics or areas.
