Details

The "Descartes Laboratory" seminar is an online a branch of the “Seminari Cartesiani di Villa Mirafiori”, organized by the Institute for the european intellectual lexicon and history of ideas (Cnr-Iliesi) and La Sapienza Department of Philosophy, and directed by Claudio Buccolini, Antonella Del Prete, Francesco Fronterotta and Enrico Pasini.

The "Descartes Laboratory" is directed by Fabrizio Baldassarri and Simone Guidi, and it is planned to engage with the most recent works on Descartes as well as on 17th-century philosophy and natural philosophy connected with Cartesianism. The Laboratory involves master and graduate students, as well as young post-doc, giving them a space for discussion, which is of course open to anyone who would like to intervene.

The 24-25 programme includes three meetings on October 7, 2024; February 17, and May 16, 2025: the event is in English, online and available at the "Descartes Laboratory" Seminar Scheduling 2024-2025.
