Details

The Social Epistemology Network Event is a bi-annual event offering scholars the opportunity to present work on any topic in social epistemology.  Social Epistemology is interpreted broadly, as the study of the social dimensions of the acquisition, storage, dissemination, and evaluation of knowledge and belief; we welcome philosophical work that engages with related disciplines (including psychology, sociology, the information sciences, anthropology, journalism, and education theory). This regularly-scheduled event is part of the Social Epistemology Network's regular offerings.

This is a call for papers. Any topic in social epistemology (broadly understood) is acceptable.  Submissions should include two separate documents (in Word or PDF only): (1) a cover page, including all contact information, the title of the paper, and word count; and (2) submissions of manuscripts of no more than 4000 words, prepared for anonymous review.  Submissions (with these two attachments) should be sent to Alex Raycroft: [email protected] with “SENE 4 submission” in the subject line.  Submissions are due by no later than 15 January 2025.  Notification of acceptances should be made some time in the early Spring.
