Details

Singularity is normally understood as an ultimate determination of reality, which makes it coincide with the individual. Individual means ‘non-divisible’, or, in Greek, atom. By referring to some classical issues in philosophy (the monism-dualism, or pluralism relationship) and more particularly to Hegel, I intend to argue that, on the contrary, singularity consists in the possibility of division to infinity, and thus with a certain relationship to infinity.
