Details

Perceptual Experience and Empirical Reason is a conference about perceptual experience and the role it plays in empirical reasoning. This year's focus is the subjective dimension of experience: How should we conceive of this dimension? And what role does it play in reasoning? The conference brings together philosophers with diverse views on these questions to debate with one another. It is expected that all participants will read the lead contributions in advance—these will be made available to registered participants in October, 2025. The conference will consist of five sessions. Each session will begin with a brief presentation by a lead participant, followed by an extended discussion of their paper.

Registration is required. The conference is free and open to the public. Please register at our website: https://www.peer2025.com
