We are delighted to announce that the final conference of the EuroUnderstanding EUROCORES programme of the ESF will take place at Fundação Calouste Gulbenkian 8, 9 and 10 May 2014.

The conference Understanding and Misunderstanding has four main themes: concepts, communication, coordination and normativity. 5 keynote speakers, Uta and Chris Frith, Barbara Malt, Simon Garrod and Ulrike Heuer, join members and associate partners of the EuroUnderstanding collaborative research projects to offer their contribution to questions on the four themes.

The EuroUnderstanding programme comprises three major interdisciplinary collaborative research projects:

CCCOM Communication in Context: Shared Understanding in a Complex World, coordinated by Åsa Wikforss.

NormCon Understanding the Normative Dimensions of Human Conduct: Conceptual and Developmental Issues, coordinated by Josef Perner.

DRUST Digging for The Roots of Understanding, coordinated by Günther Knoblich.
