CFP: 9th Stockholm Philosophy Graduate Conference 2025

We are happy to announce the CFA for the 9th Stockholm Philosophy Graduate Conference. The conference will be held exclusively in person at Stockholm University on the 4th and 5th of December 2025.

The keynote speakers are Kristján Kristjánsson, University of Birmingham and Lucy McDonald, King’s College London.

The conference’s aim is to select and showcase excellent graduate work in philosophy. Submissions within all areas of analytic philosophy are welcome. Selected speakers will be assigned a faculty commentator who will provide comments before a general Q&A.

The headline/subject of your email should only consist of one of the following keywords that best represents the topic of your submission:

·  Ethics (preferably specified if applied ethics, normative ethics or metaethics)

·      Political philosophy

·      Social philosophy

·      History of philosophy

·      Philosophy of science

·      Philosophy of language

·      Philosophy of mind

·      Epistemology

·      Other

Submissions should include:

i)               An abstract of maximum 800 words (excluding references), prepared for blind review and suitable for a 25-30 min presentation.

ii)             A cover letter specifying personal information, affiliation and the area of their submission (history of philosophy, metaethics, epistemology, etc.).

Selected speakers are expected to provide a final version of their paper (3000-5000 words) one month before the event, for the sake of faculty commentary.
