ABSTRACT: This paper argues that there is a distinctive intellectual virtue called perspectival flexibility. An agent with the virtue of perspectival flexibility is able to shift between different, apt perspectives on a given subject matter. I spell out what this ability consists in, which epistemic good it promotes, and how it differs from other intellectual virtues we are already familiar with, in particular open-mindedness and intellectual humility.
