Details

Though faced with Kripke’s clear knock-down objection,

Don’t be too quick with tracking-the-truth rejection.

OK, one knows a red barn for its hue,

Yet knows it not as a barn, though it be true.

That may be so and yet we know some facts,

Despite the chance we’re all just brains in vats.

And tracking shows where closure fails to hold,

So that the skeptic’s doubts can be controlled.

I’ll claim that knowledge as Nozick once defined,

By Kit’s truthmaker semantics is refined.

For Fine’s fine-grained approach defines conjunction,

That we may track the truth without compunction.

So faced with skeptical scenarios,

Reply with Fine, Nozick, and Yablo.
