The 49th Annual Ancient Philosophy Workshop will take place on March 27th and 28th, 2026 at the University of Texas at Austin.
The conference will consist of presentations on topics in ancient philosophy, with a keynote address by Christopher Frey (University of Tulsa). We are inviting submissions of original research on topics in ancient Greek or Roman philosophy. Our aim is to present a diverse range of research, so we encourage novelty and originality in submissions.
The submission details are as follows:
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: December 15, 2025, 11:59 pm CST.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES: Each abstract submitted should be 300-500 words. The paper should be suitable for a 45-minute presentation. A 30-minute Q&A session will follow each presentation.
