CFP: The Philosophy of David Chalmers

The 'Tübingen Masterclass in Theoretical Philosophy' is an annual event that gives graduate students the opportunity to discuss their work with leading figures in today's Theoretical Philosophy.

The Masterclass in 2014/15 will be held by David Chalmers, Professor at Australian National University and NYU.

Call for Papers

David Chalmers, Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Australian National University and Professor of Philosophy at New York University, will give a Masterclass in philosophy at Tuebingen’s Department of Philosophy in January 2015. (The exact date will be announced on the Masterclass website shortly.) This event will offer graduate students the opportunity to discuss their work with one of today’s leading philosophers. We invite graduate students to submit papers on any aspect of Professor Chalmer’s work in philosophy of mind and language, metaphysics and epistemology, and the foundations of cognitive science. Please submit papers by 15th September 2014 to Prof. Dr. Thomas Sattig ([email protected]). Papers should be prepared for blind review, should not exceed 4000 words, and should include an abstract of up to 200 words. Notifications of acceptance will be sent by 1st November 2014.
