The University of Aberdeen PhilosophyPostgraduate Conference invites submission of abstracts for its inaugural meeting in February 2026. The topic will be on imagination, fiction, and extended reality.
The two-dayconference will take place at the University of Aberdeen, Sir Duncan Library, from February 10-11, 2026, featuring 8 talks, each divided into a 30-minute presentation and 15 minutes of Q&A, followed by a keynote speaker at the end of each day.

Submission Specifications
We are inviting currentpostgraduate studentsto submit works for presentation. Submissions are welcome from all areas of philosophy, with priority given to topics related to imagination, fiction, and extended reality, broadly construed. Submissions from related topics, including but not limited to perception, representation, modality, fictional existence, consciousness, technology, ethics of XR, are alsohighly encouraged.
Anonymisedabstracts(up to 500 words) suitable for a 30-minutes presentation are to be submittedvia email to [email protected]. Please include the subject line [Submission – LAST NAME].The email body should also include your name, affiliation, career stage, and if you identify as a member of an underrepresented group.
