The annual Southwest Graduate Philosophy Conference will resume in Spring 2026 at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona. This year, our theme will be Civility and Incivility. We welcome graduate student submissions from any area of philosophy, but priority will be given to papers relevant to the theme and/or relevant to social philosophy broadly constructed. This year our conference is co-hosted by ASU’s MAP chapter, so we particularly encourage graduate students to submit papers on topics that are relevant to marginalized communities.

We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Sukiana Hirji from the University of Pennsylvania as our keynote speaker. The keynote presentation will be the final talk of the conference on Saturday, April 25th.
