The Society for Philosophy and Psychology (SPP) invites submissions of papers (talks and posters) to be presented at its 52nd Annual Meeting, to be held from June 18–20, 2026 at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. A pre-conference on Mental Control and Agency will also be held at JHU on June 17. Please spread the word!

You may submit an abstract by January 30 (EXTENDED DEADLINE!), 2026 at 11:59pm EST in any area relevant to philosophy, psychology, linguistics, neuroscience, or cognitive science. The submission portal can be found at: https://bit.ly/44irCaz.

Submissions are open format, but must be no more than 750 words + one optional figure (to be submitted as a separate PDF file) and must be prepared for anonymized review. All submitters may be first author on only one submission (but may co-author any number of submissions). Graduate students accepted into the conference will be considered for the William James Prize. Some need-based travel stipends will be available. 

Submissions will be refereed (typically by one philosopher and one psychologist) and selected on the basis of quality and relevance to SPP. If you would be interested in reviewing for SPP this year, please indicate your availability here: https://bit.ly/488KZUu.
