The PhEEL Masterclasses in Emotion Theory present opportunities for advanced students and specialists to engage intensively with a prominent philosopher of emotion over the course of a day. We will discuss one key paper that presents the core of their account and second piece of work in progress (both pre-read). The event is rounded off with a public lecture in the evening. The Masterclasses are organised by the Philosophy of Emotion Essen Lab (PhEEL) at the University of Duisburg-Essen. They aim to promote a deeper understanding of important strands of contemporary research on emotions.
