The Society for Philosophy of AI (https://phai.ac/) is pleased to announce a workshop on Methods in the Philosophy of AI, featuring Herman Cappelen (HKU) and René van Woudenberg (Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam).
The workshop will take place on 16 January 2026 at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
The focus will be on methodological issues in the Philosophy of AI, including conceptual analysis, conceptual engineering, and the role of ethical and political values and goals regarding conceptual assessment.
The workshop is hosted by the Department of Philosophy, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and is intended for researchers and PhD students working in the Philosophy of AI and related areas. Main organizers are Tamara Dobler, Guido Löhr, and Celine Henne.
