Call for Extended Abstracts: The Everyday Diversity workshop

What happens when philosophy of mind takes everyday mental diversity seriously? The Everyday Diversity Project invites 500-word extended abstracts for an interdisciplinary workshop bringing together philosophers, psychologists, and allied researchers to explore the conceptual and methodological implications of natural variation in human mentality. We’re interested not only in recognised forms of neurodiversity (e.g. autism, ADHD), but also in the vast spectrum of differences in how people think, feel, reason, perceive, and experience themselves. For full CFA see here. Workshop organisers: Léa Salje (Leeds), Heather Logue (Leeds), Laura Gow (Liverpool).

Workshop details: University of Leeds, 10th and 11th June 2026, travel & accommodation covered.

Open to philosophers, psychologists, cognitive scientists, neuroscientists, psychiatrists, disability studies scholars, and first-person perspectives.

Abstracts of 500 words to be submitted by email to [email protected] by 23rd Feb 2026. Any questions to Léa Salje at [email protected]
