King University’s Undergraduate Conference in Philosophy and Religion

February 26-27, 2027

King University

Bristol, TN

Our conference provides a supportive environment in which undergraduate students from across the nation can present their original work in philosophy and/or religion. Papers on any topic within these fields will be considered for acceptance.  Accepted authors should prepare for a 30-minute presentation—20 minutes for your paper presentation and 10 minutes for Q & A.

The $250.00 Errol Rohr Prize in Philosophy and Religion will be awarded to the best paper. Participants will also enjoy a keynote presentation by Dr. Thomas Senor from the University of Arkansas.

Submit your papers via email to Jasmine Barker at [email protected].  Acceptance will be determined by blind review by a jury of scholars from various institutions.  Accordingly, please submit the following as three separate attachments to your email:

1. An abstract of no more than 150 words.  The abstract should contain the title of your paper but no identifying information.

2. The Paper:  Prepare for 20 minutes of reading, which is approximately 7 -10 pages of double-spaced type.  Include the title of the paper on the top of the first page.  Remove identifying information from the body of your work.

3. A separate coversheet that includes the paper title, author’s name, institution, email, and phone number.

Submissions must be received by Monday, December 10, 2026.
