SoPheRECALL FOR PAPER AND PANEL PROPOSALS 2027 Pacific Division Meeting of the American Philosophical Association

The Society for the Phenomenology of Religious Experience (SoPheRE) invites paper and panel proposals for its session at the 2027 American Philosophical Association Pacific Division Meeting.

We welcome proposals addressing phenomenological philosophical approaches to philosophy of religion, comparative religion, and world religions.

Submission Guidelines

Individual papers: Submit an abstract of 200–300 words. A completed paper may also be included. Presentations will be approximately 20–30 minutes.

Panel proposals: Submit a 150-word introduction describing the panel theme and title, together with 200–300-word abstracts for each paper.

All submissions should include each presenter’s:

·Full name

·Institutional affiliation and location (state/province or country)

·Email address

·Paper title in Title Case

Membership in SoPheRE is not required for submission or acceptance. However, accepted presenters must become current SoPheRE members before the session information is submitted to the APA. Presenters must also register for the APA meeting and pay the applicable APA registration fee.
