CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
The 15th Principia International Symposium: Metaphysics of Science invites submissions of abstracts. Non-exhaustive suggested themes include:
- The relationship between metaphysics and science
- Naturalistic metaphysics
- Metametaphysics and the metaphysics of science
- The metaphysics of particular scientific theories
- Modality in science
- Natural kinds
- Social ontology
- Scientific laws and laws of nature
- Realism and antirealism in science and in mathematics
- Logical and metaphysical approaches to scientific indeterminacy
As usual, in addition to the main theme, the Symposium welcomes submissions for contributed talks in theory of knowledge, logic, philosophy of language, philosophy of mind, and philosophy of science (broadly understood).
Submissions for contributed talks (20 min presentation + 10 min Q&A) should be prepared according to the guidelines below.
Notification of acceptance or rejection is expected by March 5, 2027.
