We invite submissions of papers by graduate students to a conference hosted by the PhD students of the Philosophy Department at Stockholm University, May 22-23 2015.
Papers on any topic in philosophy are welcome. Submissions will be selected according to argumentative strength, clarity, originality, and accessibility to a general philosophical audience. Presentations of the papers can take 20-25 minutes and will be followed by comments from a faculty member and general discussion. In so far as possible, senior faculty members will provide the comments.
Keynote speakers are Robin Jeshion (University of Southern California) and John Skorupski (University of St. Andrews)
Submission Guidelines
Deadline for submission is February 1, 2015. Succesful applicants will be notified of their success by March 15.
The application should contain the following:
- A cover letter containing (a) author’s name, (b) institutional affiliation, (c) contact information (at least e-mail address), (d) title of the paper, (e) word count, and (f) area(s) of the paper (e.g. ethics, metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of language, etc.).
- The paper, which should not exceed 4 000 words (including footnotes, excluding abstract). The paper should be prepared for blind review, and should include an abstract of no more than 250 words.

Note: the same week as the graduate conference (May 18-22) Robin Jeshion will also - separate from the graduate conference - be giving the Wedberg Lectures at Stockholm University.
