Course Description

In this seminar we will look at how auditory, tactile, gustatory and olfactory perceptual information enters the mind, how attention is used to select from available incoming sensory input, how new informational input is stored in and retrieved from memory, how sensory input and thoughts are processed to become communicable via language, and how implicit and explicit belief is transformed and expanded in reasoning processes outside of the visual-cognitive domain.
