Great Plains Philosophy Symposium-Oct. 24, 2015 University of Kansas
Please submit an abstract of no more than 250 words and a paper no more than 3000 words to [email protected] by Aug. 20, 2015. Any topic or issue in moral psychology is welcome. Please self-identify with two keywords as to what sub-field or aspect your topic is.
This will be a symposium rather than a typical conference. The difference is this: we will circulate the accepted papers before the conference and have moderated round table discussions rather than the usual long presentation, comments, and short Q&A. We think this will be more beneficial and engaging for the audience as well as the presenters.
We will have Owen Flanagan as our keynote speaker and KU will have Julia Annas give the celebrated Lindley Lecture the night before our symposium. So if you get into town a day early you could enjoy that as well.
