The 2015 meeting of the Atlantic Region Philosophers' Association is being hosted by St. Thomas University and the University of New Brunswick.  It will take place on October 30-31. The theme of this year’s meeting is The Relevance of Philosophy, though submissions on any topic in philosophy are welcome.
This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr Andrew Chignell.  Dr Chignell is a member of the Susan Linn Sage School of Philosophy at Cornell University, with cross appointments in German Studies and Religious Studies. He specializes in 17th-18th century philosophy, focusing on the philosophy of Kant.
Papers must be of a length that allows reading in the space of 30 minutes. Submissions of abstracts can be sent as pdf or Microsoft Word attachments to [email protected]. Applicants are encouraged to submit their abstracts by August 31st, 2015, though submissions will be considered until September 18, 2015.
