Dr Heuer’s main interests are in theories of practical reasons, action theory and metaethics. She has widely published in those areas. Currently she is working on a book on intentions, reasons and responsibility. She is an associate professor in philosophy at Leeds, having recently held a Guest Research Professorship at the University of Vienna, and a British Academy mid-career fellowship.

All lectures in the series are free and open to the public without registration. Lectures start at 5.15pm and last for 50 minutes, with 40 minutes for questions, followed by a wine reception.
