The 10th Arché Graduate Philosophy Conference will be an international event that will bring talented graduate students from around the world to the University of St Andrews for two days of research-led presentations and discussion. The conference will also provide attending students and faculty with the opportunity to engage with the work of two distinguished keynote speakers. Our invited keynote speakers this year are Professor Robbie Williams (Leeds) and Professor Matti Eklund (Uppsala). The conference will take place on October 14th – 15th, in the Edgecliffe Philosophy Department, in St Andrews.
The Arché Research Centre has a history of hosting successful postgraduate conferences, and this will be the 10th in the series. Given the success of last year’s conference, we will continue with the expanded format of having slots for eight external graduate students. We will also have slots for postgraduate students in St Andrews to respond to the speakers, ensuring that participation is as wide as possible. The conference will be widely advertised, entirely free to attend, and open to any postgraduate student who wishes to participate.
This is a student event (e.g. a graduate conference).
