Call for Papers -- 10th Arché Graduate Conference

We invite submissions to the 10th edition of the Arché Graduate Conference, to be held at the University of St Andrews on the 14th and 15th of October 2017. Papers should be on topics relevant to at least one of the active research projects in Arché (Logic, Language, Metaphysics, Mind, and Epistemology) broadly construed. We particularly encourage submissions from members of underrepresented groups in philosophy.

Keynote Speakers:

Professor Robbie Williams (Leeds)

Professor Matti Eklund (Uppsala)

Eligibility: Any graduate student (except those currently enrolled in the University of St Andrews).

Details: All accepted papers will receive comments from one graduate student from Arché.

We will guarantee free accommodation, and also aim to provide substantial travel bursaries to speakers.

Submissions:

The deadline for submissions is Monday 31st of July.

Submissions must be suitable for a presentation of around 40 minutes. Papers should be no longer than 4,500 words; must be authored (or co-authored) by current graduate students (limited to 1 submission per author); and be suitable for blind-review. Please also submit an abstract (max. 250 words) -- to be copied into the EasyChair submission form: https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=10agc
