We invite full paper submissions addressing philosophical issues related to social epistemology broadly construed, including but not limited to: testimony, trust, disagreement, epistemic norms, social norms, the epistemology of speech acts, epistemic justice, social epistemology and the internet (e.g. epistemology of social networks, epistemology of search, epistemology of Wikipedia; epistemological dimensions of the human-computer interface, etc.), social epistemology of journalism, the epistemology of groups, social epistemology of science, political epistemology/social epistemology and democracy, and social epistemology and collective action and intentionality.
Papers should be no longer than 8000 words, and prepared for anonymous review. Each successful applicant will be allocated a respondent from among the event’s other participants.
We have 4 slots reserved for graduate students/very early career researchers (within 1 year after PhD). Successful graduate /very early career applicants will receive a bursary towards their travel, and have their meals and accommodation covered.
We particularly encourage submissions from women and members of underrepresented groups.
