CALL FOR PAPERS: MINDGRAD 2017
Warwick Graduate Conference in the Philosophy of Mind
25th-26th November 2017, University of Warwick (UK)

Keynote speakers:

  • Barry Stroud (University of California, Berkeley)

  • Maria Alvarez (King’s College, London)

Deadline for submissions
: 3rd September 2017

Papers are invited from graduate students working in any area within the philosophy of mind, broadly construed to include related topics in metaphysics, epistemology, philosophy of psychology and cognitive science. Submissions should be suitable for presentation in 30 to 40 minutes (typically 3,000 to 4,500 words) and must be accompanied by a short abstract. Papers will be reviewed by members of the Department of Philosophy, University of Warwick, and accepted papers will receive a response from a faculty member.

We strongly encourage submissions from women and other under-represented groups in philosophy.

Papers and abstracts must be prepared for blind review. The reviewing process will be managed through the EasyChair Conference System, and papers may be uploaded as PDF files through the following URL:

https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=mg2017

We offer to cover registration costs and provide accommodation for graduate speakers. Pending a successful application for funding, we may also be able to offer bursaries to cover some of the travel expenses for graduate speakers.

Please email [email protected] for further details.
