Details

Against a backdrop of increasing activity and interest in memory and its relationship to other philosophical issues and cognitive phenomena, this one-day workshop aims to explore both historical and contemporary connections between the themes of memory, self, and self-knowledge.

It aims to provide a forum for work that advances our understanding in any of the thee areas, as well as connections between them, and to provide networking opportunities for researchers working in these areas.

The event is open but spaces will be limited and registration is required.

The list of invited speakers includes:

Dorothea Debus (York)
Jordi Fernandez (Adelaide)
Andy Hamilton (Durham)
Léa Salje (Leeds)

We are delighted to announce the following will also be speaking:

Anna Giustina (Jean Nicod)
Philipp Rau (Sheffield)
Lukas Schwengerer (Edinburgh)
Ben Sorgiovanni (Oxford)
Stephen Wright (University College Oxford)
