We invite submissions of high-quality papers investigating radical disruptions of self-consciousness, reflecting on what such alterations mean for our understanding of self-consciousness in ordinary states, and addressing the question of whether there can really be conscious states lacking any kind of self-consciousness whatsoever.

Papers should be in PDF format and no more than 3,000 words in length, excluding abstract and references. The scope of the workshop is outlined in the Manifesto. Please prepare your submission for blind review and submit via EasyChair at https://easychair.org/conferences/?conf=selfless2018.

After the workshop, accepted submissions will be revised and extended based on reviewer comments and discussions at the workshop. Full-length papers (7,000 - 10,000 words) will be published in an open access edited collection.
