CFP: Intensities: Philosophy, Religion and the Affirmation of Life

Intensities: Philosophy, Religion and the Affirmation of Life

Due to the late withdrawal of a contributor, we are seeking an additional essay for this edited collection, which has already secured a publishing contract with Ashgate. Further details of the book may be found in the attached document. These include a current table of contents. We are looking for a piece of work that will fit into either Section One ‘Life, Death and Natality’ or Section Three ‘The Politics of Life’. The deadline for submission is November 21st 2011, to allow selection and editing to take place before a final submission date for the volume in early 2012.

Given the tight schedule, we will accept only complete submissions of between 6000 and 8000 words, which must be of a quality high enough to warrant publication alongside essays by scholars such as Pamela Sue Anderson, Philip Goodchild, Nina Power and John Caputo.
