Details

This workshop is about the epistemology of ethics, the epistemology of aesthetics, and the relationships between them. Topics will include the metaphysics and epistemology of normative perception, the relevance of biological facts to the epistemology of ethics, the role of creativity in thinking about the ethical and the aesthetic, the metaphysics and epistemology of the imagination, and more.

Papers will be given by Elisabeth Schellekens Dammann, Alison Hills, Magdalena Balcerak Jackson, Errol Lord, David Plunkett, and Kurt Sylvan. Comments will be given by Paloma Atencia, Grace Boey, Rachel Elizabeth Fraser, Andrew Huddleston, Nicholas Lakowski, and Max Lewis. 

Everyone is invited to come but registration by June 20th is required. It might not be possible to accommodate everyone because of space so please register as soon as possible. Further details about the program will be forthcoming. An excursion to the Black Forest is planned for the afternoon of July 4th.
