The M.A. students, Department of Philosophy, and University of Manitoba Minorities and Philosophy (MAP) chapter invite submissions to the 2019 University of Manitoba Student Philosophy Conference, from March 15-16th, 2019. 

Keynote Speaker: C. Thi Nguyen, Associate Professor of Philosophy, Utah Valley University. 

Submission information:

All students, undergraduate and graduate are eligible to submit. 

  • Papers in Philosophy of Art (broadly construed) 
  • Submissions should not exceed 2500 words
  • Submissions from folks in under represented groups in philosophy are extremely welcome. 
  • Please submit papers in standard .doc or .pdf format to [email protected] by January 30th, 2019. 
  • We will aim to notify accepted papers by early to mid February
  • Each presenter will have approximately 25 minutes to present their paper, followed by a 10 minute commentary from a U of M student, and a 15 minute Q&A from the audience.
