We invite proposals for presentations from philosophers with interests in the broad area of philosophy of time. We particularly encurage proposals from current graduate students and early-career researchers, and we intend to offer a small number of bursaries to offset the travel costs of graduate student and ECR presenters.
We welcome papers on any topic in the philosophy of time, broadly construed, including but not limited to:
- the ontology of time;
- our experience of time;
- the language of time and tense;
- temporal aspects of preference and decision;
- time and memory;
- persistence and time.
Prospective presenters should submit the following by email to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 31, 2019:
- Your contact details;
- A paper title;
- A full abstract of 750 words;
- [Optional] If you wish to apply for a bursary, a brief statement as to why you are requesting financial support to attend the workshop.
We aim to notify successful candidates by June 10, 2019.
We are grateful for the financial support of the Australasian Association of Philosophy through its postgraduate conference fund scheme, and the School of Humanities at the University of Adelaide.
