The Texas Tech University Philosophy Graduate Student Association announces a call for papers for its 7th annual graduate student conference, to be held April 26 - 27, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas. The topics for this conference are Mind and Language

The keynote speaker will be Fred Dretske, Senior Research Scholar in Philosophy at Duke University.

Submissions from current graduate students in any area of philosophy of mind and philosophy of language are welcome, but those dealing with the cognitive aspects of mind and language are particularly encouraged. Papers should be between 3,000 - 3,500 words in length, and should be prepared for blind review. A 150-word abstract should precede the paper.

A small stipend may be awarded to some presenters to help defer some of the cost of travel.
