Call for Papers: Disputatio. Philosophical Research Bulletin

Call for papers covering the following topics: Ancient & Medieval Philosophy, Humanism, Spanish Philosophy and Theoretical Philosophy (Metaphysics, Epistemology, Ontology, Philosophy of Science, Philosophy of Language, Philosophy of Logic & Philosophy of Mind).

Submissions will be subject to blind peer review and must meet the usual standards of quality for international Publications.

Disputatio (Madrid, ISSN: 2254-0601) it is of open access, free of charge for authors and readers, and it mainly publishes original writings in Spanish, English, Italian and Portuguese. Disputatio is covered by the following indexing services: Emerging Sources Citation Index – ESCI (ISI/WoS), The Philosopher’s Index, MLA International Bibliography, PhilPapers, Linguistic Bibliography, ERIH Plus, DOAJ, among others. 

Disputatio is published for the «Studia Humanitatis» Research Network by the Universty of Salamanca.

Instructions for submission  

The manuscripts may be submitted in Spanish, English and Portuguese. They shall be preceded by a title, an abstract (at most 200 words) and keywords (3 to 5), both in English and in the language of the paper. In case the paper is written in English, we will prepare a Spanish translation of the title, extract and keywords in case the author cannot provide it. The manuscript shall include a section at the end providing a bibliography according to the Chicago style, in the format author-date. The extension will depend on the type of contribution (article, note, critical study, discussion, review, and the likes). 

Deadline for the receipt of submissions: 30/11/2019.

Convocatoria: Disputatio. Philosophical Research Bulletin

Se encuentra abierta la convocatoria para recibir trabajos de investigación en las siguientes áreas: Filosofía Antigua y Medieval, Humanismo, Filosofía Española y Filosofía Teórica (Metafísica, Epistemología, Ontología, Filosofia de la Ciencia, Filosofía del Lenguaje, Filosofía de la Lógica y Filosofía de la Mente).

Los trabajos serán sometidos a revisión por pares ciegos y deben cumplir con las normas habituales de la calidad para publicaciones internacionales.

Disputatio (Madrid, ISSN: 2254-0601) es de acceso abierto y sin costo, principalmente publica trabajos originales (en Castellano, Inglés o Portugués), en los cuales se valora fundamentalmente la calidad de la escritura, la precisión conceptual, profundidad y rigor en el tratamiento del tema. Disputatio se encuentra recogida, entre otros, por los siguientes servicios de indexación: Emerging Sources Citation Index – ESCI (ISI/WoS), The Philosopher’s Index, MLA International Bibliography, PhilPapers, Linguistic Bibliography, ERIH Plus, DOAJ.

Disputatio es publicada para la Red de Investigación «Studia Humanitatis» por la Universidad de Salamanca.

Instrucciones de envío

Los trabajos pueden ser enviados en Castellano, Inglés, Italiano y Portugués. Los trabajos irán precedidos de título, resumen (máximo 200 palabras) y palabras clave (entre 3 y 5), tanto en el idioma en el que hayan sido redactados como en inglés. El manuscrito al final ha de tener un apartado de bibliografía que debe estar en el estilo Chicago, formato autor-fecha. La extensión dependerá del tipo de contribución (artículo, nota, estudio crítico, discusión, reseña, etc.)
