The University of Texas at Austin’s Graduate Conference is an annual conference for graduate students, hosted by the graduate students in the philosophy department at the University of Texas at Austin. We aim to offer a forum for philosophical papers on all topics in philosophy.
We are delighted to announce that we will have two keynote speakers:
- Grace Helton, Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Princeton University, and
- Rusty Jones, Associate Professor of Philosophy at the University of Oklahoma.
Date: Friday-Saturday, May 1-2, 2020.
We welcome high-quality paper submissions from graduate students in any area of philosophy including, but not limited to:

We especially encourage submissions from members of groups underrepresented in the philosophy profession.
Submission Deadline: Thursday, January 31, 2020.
All submissions must be 4000 words at most and prepared for blind review. Please submit all documents (in .pdf, .docx, or .doc format) to [email protected] with the subject ‘UT Austin Graduate Conference submission’. Please use your paper title as the document’s name (e.g., InterestingPaper.pdf). One submission per author. In addition, please include a cover letter with:
